We will never forget the afternoon that Gerri called with word of a brand-new listing. It was around 2 pm on a Friday. "This just listed two hours ago," she said. "No one has seen it yet. I think it might be what you've been looking for." Within minutes she had emailed photos and specs of the house. It looked very promising. Gerri got us a showing that very day. By 5 pm we were in the house. The location, the style, the room to grow - it was better than we could have hoped. By 6 pm we'd put in an offer. And by the following Saturday afternoon, thanks to Gerri's extra efforts, we had a ratified contract.

And thanks to her, we found our new home as well.

Shopping for a house from eleven hundred miles away can be a daunting task but Gerri was great. She knew Charlottesville and the surrounding areas very well and knew a lot about houses from just knowing the neighborhood. She knew which houses were close to major roads or too far from town, didn’t have large enough yards for our dog, etc. without us having to go out to each one ourselves.
