Gerri made the farm sale go more smoothly than I ever could have imagined. I know it is not particularly easy to work with a divorced couple, but efficient communication did the trick.

Siamese Rescue Siamese Rescue provides a group of individual non-profit Rescue Organizations the opportunity to engage in a common purpose and to come together as one Internet presence. While each organization represented here is a separate non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation with its own Board, policies and procedures, we are all working towards a common goal - to rescue the homeless and abandoned Siamese cats of the world and rehome them in carefully screened, permanent situations.
Siamese and Siamese mixes form exceptionally close emotional bonds with their humans and, more than any other breed, may suffer enormous emotional grief and trauma when they lose their homes and end up in shelters.
This nationwide/worldwide effort to rescue Siamese before they are euthanized at shelters requires an enormous amount of time, energy, and money. You won't find a more dedicated group of individuals willing to put forth everything they have to save this wonderful breed. There just isn't enough, however, to go around. Enough transporters, enough fosters, enough money. Many of these cats require extensive medical work to get them back on their feet, and we are willing to do it, if we can. Please consider supporting our efforts - if you can donate - whether it be in supplies, in elbow grease, or in funds, we would greatly appreciate your support.
Local Shelter Pets of the Month There are so many animals that need homes. Because of this, I will be featuring a different animal each month. I have 18 animals at home now and each one of them brings something special into my life.
It would be great if you could find it in your hearts to adopt one of these babies looking for someone to love and be loved in return.
Jamie Jamie is a 2 year old setter who arrived at our shelter as a stray with his buddy Logan. Jamie is a bit shy, but still loves attention.
Please call the Madison County Animal shelter: (540) 948-6495. 6 days/week for more info or email MCShelter@madisonco.virginia.gov .
